<image:caption>After my amazing time at Tullagh Bay I decided it was time to head towards home. The night was just too good and I had a shot in mind that I'd always wanted - the aurora over Grianan. When I arrived at Grianan the sky was fairly quiet. I read some stats and knew something big was minutes away. That was the motivation I needed. The aurora so strong that yet again it was appearing in the southern sky!. When i took this shot around 3.10am I could see twilight to the North East. The birds were already singing. It was time to think about going home.

<image:caption>September stars over this iconic shipwreck at Bunbeg, Co. Donegal. Some of the brightest summer stars in our milky way galaxy can still be captured early in the night during this month. Its always a thrill to get a wonderfully clear sky such as this one and to be able to capture its beauty</image:caption>
